These are given to German children for their first day of first grade. They're stuffed with school supplies, toys, and treats. Parents give them to their children to help ease them into their first day of school. The one I made is a mini version. Directions are on my blog if you want to make one

I just discovered these about a week ago. When I saw it, I knew I had to make one. I don't think most people are aware of them.
