We can't seem to get the challenges going here, so we'd like to hear from you.
What kind of challenges would you like to see?
Is the deadline long enough?
We've got some great prizes promised so hopefully that will give you more incentive to join in the challenge!

I think the time line is fine
I think as participants we need to think simple , that way its not too time consuming.
Also need to look at making something that might fit into the line of items we sell. I did a pincushion because I have made several silk embroidered ones for our fall bazaar someone in our community collects them and usually buys any pincushions we have so that is why I chose to make the pumpkin one.
Prizes are good, I dont enter though to win the prize, I enter because I like being challenged in my creativity and I love seeing what others come up with.
As for ideas I guess just keep doing what your doing we are getting new members daily sooner of later some of them will join in.
Hope to see a Halloween challenge.

Great ideas so far!! I think Meg is right we need to keep them fairly simple!!

How about...

decorated dish washing gloves

a kids hat for winter made of fleece(we could donate them to a shelter)

an embelished straw hat for a door

Recycled grocery bags

something out of a soda can

a decorated wreath

a mobile or chime out of recycled things

Something made from a disc(the ones you get in the mail)

a tree ornament made of popsicle sticks

something made from twigs

a decorated basket

a wedding favor

embelished flip flops

How about a bra purse challenge, and all to be donated to breast cancer and we could have a show and sale on here in our new selling forum!!

well to the Community there is tons to see , so take your time and stop back and post on what type of a challenge you would like to see us do . Challenges are closed for the summer but will start up again in September . Oh yes and introduce yourself on the intro board ~ we are quite friendly here
