| This crochet along will begin on Monday September 10th ! this is how it works I will post a little of the pattern each day until I have posted the entire pattern ~ When they are all finished post your finished pic here :smile: Thought we would start out with a quick one :smile: I'll post the material list today and begin tomorrow~ don't worry if you can't begin right away because each day I will add the new part here , so that eventually the entire pattern will be here ! At the end of the pattern I will post my source and give credit to the creator :smile: Ready .....set........ Crochet !!!!!!!!!!! ~ Sept. 9/07~ This is the material list ~ Rating: Easy - Medium Materials: Cotton Worsted Weight Yarn, such as Peaches N Cream, Ombre or variegated color - one ball (2.25 or 2.5 oz). Matching solid color - small amount. Crochet hook Size F (3.75mm) Pattern Stitches Fan: In the same stitch, work (dc, 1 ch, dc, 1 ch, dc, 1 ch, dc, ch, dc); base of pineapple made. Shell: In the same stitch, work (2 dc, 1 ch, 2 dc). Scallop: In the same stitch, work (sc, 3 ch, 2 dc). ~here we go ~ Monday September 10th~ Directions: Ch 44 LOOSELY. (If you don't do this, it will be too tight at the bottom.) Saturday September 15th Row 20: Sc in next ch-3 lp, 3 ch; * shell in next shell; 3 ch, (sc in next ch-3 lp, ch 3) twice; rep from * two more times; 3 dc in top of turning chain; 1 ch, turn. Row 21: Sc in next dc, 3 ch; *skip next ch-3 lp, in next ch-3 lp, between the 2 sc, work fan; 3 ch, sc in ch-1 sp of shell; 3 ch; rep from * two more times; in turning ch lp, work (dc, 1 ch, dc, 1 ch, dc); 1 ch, turn. Edging Without cutting yarn, turn the piece to the right and crochet down the side. Work 31 sc evenly. Work 3 sc in the corner. Turn the piece and work 34 sc evenly across the bottom. Work 3 sc in the corner. Work 31 sc evenly across the second side. Work 3 sc in the corner. Turn the piece and work 34 sc evenly across the top. Work 3 sc in the corner and join with a sl st to the first sc. Total of 142 sc around the piece.
With solid color, slip stitch into first sc. Ch 1, (work SCALLOP, skip 2 sts) 10 times; sk 1 st; work Scallop (this will be a corner); sk 1 st, (work Scallop, skip 2 stsJ) 11 times; work Scallop, sk 1 st; work Scallop (second corner); sk 1 st, (work Scallop, sk 2 sts) 10 times; sk 1 st; work Scallop (last corner); sl st into 1st sc.
