need help with tutorial

Hi everyone

I have put togther a tutorial, or I should say I have everything I need to put it togther, the instrutions, diagrams and photos. But I don't know how to do it so that I can post it online. If I use Word Pad I can insert the diagrams and photos, but when I save it I get a Document icon and I don't want that. Can someone point me in the right direction??
