Just went to upgrade my Norton and it no longer is worth getting?? Because I don't have windows 2000 and up!!
Any suggestions on another protection service??? Free would be good, but I don't mind paying either!! [img]images/smiley_icons/roflmbo.gif[/img]

AVG free edition is excellent! I've been using it for over a year, and it has caught quite a few bugs for me.

They also have a 30 day trial period for the full edition, if you wish to try and buy.

Nope...AVG is da bomb!!! I use it with my Norton's. It catches more than Nortons!!!

AVG is a good one. We use it with our Norton. The last time we had that big crash we uploaded and things have been really good since.
We use the free feature. We have been using it four about three months now. I like it very much

Ok got it set up, now my email doesn't work?? Any ideas???
Do you think it has changed anything in my settings for my email??

It shouldn't affect your email. When we loaded it up we didn't have change any of our settings. You use sympatico.ca to don't you? Do you have a fire wall with sympatico.ca? If you do maybe that could be part of the problem? You may have to call sympatico to see about settings.
When you say the email is not working what is not working exactly?
If you don't get any answers let me know and I can see what I can find out?

All I know it that I have High Speed internet service!! Or most of the time!!
I'm not able to recive my emails I can sent out(just figured that out last night) But I can't recieve them!! I keep getting a error message!! I have checked my settings and they all look normal!! I have sent them my error message via email as they have asked me to try and use that feature instead of bugging them alll the time!! [img]images/smiley_icons/hysterical.gif[/img] [img]images/smiley_icons/hysterical.gif[/img] I can go onto there sight and recive that way, but it's such a hassel to me!! I like one click service!!!
