Another Problem

I HAVE AOL AND I TOLD TAMMY I KEEP GETTING KNOCKED OFF LINE. AOL IS GOOD ABOUT HELPING YOU ON LINE OR BY PHONE BUT THE TECHNICIANS ARE FROM A FOREIGN COUNTRY AND IT IS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND THEM (NO OFFENSE INTENDED) AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND SOME OF THE TERMS THAT GO WITH A COMPUTER. SO I AM LOST. CAN SOMEONE MAYBE WITH AOL TELL ME WHAT TO DO. THEY HAVE AN AUTO FIX WHICH I TRIED BUT IT ONLY LASTED A COUPLE DAYS. AS SOON AS I GET BACK ON I AM KNOCKED OFF AGAIN SO I GIVE UP. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

Can you ask them to send the instructions by email? I'm not familiar with AOL so I don't know how they work--but I do know that when I was with Webshoppe and didn't understand their instructions by phone, they would send them to me by email and I would print them out so I could try over and over until I got it correct.



Or ask if there is english speaking tech that can help--sometimes your phone message is monitored and they will get you someone you can relate to. At least ask--all they can do is say no--so you are back to square one.

I had the same problem a couple years ago with AOL. I had to have the phone company check my telephone line for static. Also, try changing access numbers to another number. I used the auto fix a few months ago and it did seem to make my computer work better. Hope this helps.
