| Hi Amy. I'm new here and was browsing the boards when I found your post. A good clay to start out with that is easy to find (Walmart) and cheap enough to throw out if you don't like it, is Sculpy. This is a good clay for beginners, though if you want to make pieces to sell..... you'd have to upgrade to Super Sculpy, or Fimo available at Michaels, Joann Fabrics and many places online. Word of warning....... working with clay is addictive!!!! My husband is forever telling people "she was lost in clayland again". Any questions about working with clay, feel free to ask.
