Ok, since so many of you love reading her I actually bought a couple of her books to read.
Here's my questions~ Which books belong to which series? How many different series are there? Is The Manning Sisters a part of a series? Are there any books that aren't a part of a series that I can read until I can find the missing ones I need? Did that make sense?
The first one I bought, I just couldn't read it. I got about 1/3 of the way through it and couldn't finish it. It was the one where the story was being told through letters to each other.
I then picked up Back on Blossom Street without realizing it was the third book in the series. I have looked and looked for the first two but so far am unable to find them. I will be looking at an actual bookstore tomorrow though.
Cedar cove is a series...and you can tell the order by the # in the title ie and don't quote me the titles the first one would be 100 cove way...2nd 200 end way...etc.
Alot of them are series...the best thing to do is go to Debbie's website and click on book lists! Debbie Macomber - Where ever you are... Debbie takes you home.

Hey Leanna! I'm so glad you started reading Debbie! I'm a huge fan!
The Cedar Cove stories are probably my favorite. BUT I don't think there are any that I really haven't liked. I know the one you're talking about. It was kind of hard to follow for a while, but once I got into it I liked it.
The Cedar Cove books are set in a fictional town based on Port Townsend, WA. There's lots of places in those books I recognize! Tammy's right, they're really easy to figure out which book is first, second, third, and so on. They're numbered!
Thursday's at Eight was my first Debbie book EVER! It's a really good one and it's not part of a series. I always try to get her Christmas books too. Usually they are 2 or 3 stories in one book and/or she combines her stories with a couple of her writer friends to make a book.
Oh, Changing Habits is another good one that's not part of a series. Ummm... Miss Miracle is another good one. Oh, who am I kidding......... They're all good! But, Miss Miracle isn't part of a series either.
Ok, there you go. It's a start, you'll have to take it from there. But BEWARE! Debbie's books can be addicting!!!!
Wasn't that book titled: Between Friends??? I did enjoy that one. Yes it was a little difficult to read but I thought the friendship was so sweet between the 2 ladies. I too love to read her books, Thanks to Norene! mgf~
