| I finished Free Fall, what a great series, are there anymore in this series? I also finished reading Circle of Hope by my husband John A Zaner. It's a good science fiction book about going to Mars, will be published soon. Now back to Debbie and Nora ect.

| Oh, MGF! I have goose bumps just reading your post! I haven't read the book, but I've seen parts of his presentation on TV before. Just an amazing man! Makes me cry every time I see it. Especially the end. | | | | | Moderator Points: 14,409, Level: 52 | Level up: 53%, 491 Points needed |

| This is a MUST read for anyone going thru something that they truly feel is horrible~I mean what could be worse than knowing that you are going to die, you have 3 young children and a beautiful wife, an amazing job doing something you love...never knowing when all of this will come to an end. You read about how he is going thru everyday and if it were his last. This man doesn't take anything for granted...he lives each day to the fullest.....He is truly leaving a lasting legacy for his children. When things go bad in my life I think about him! OMG~if I could only have 1/4 of the determination this man has. He is very inspiring! The whole story is enough to make a person realize "Just Get Over It" ...No one is guarenteed a single day let alone the next breath you take! I am going to include the link to his web site...take a few minutes to check it out. There is a link on there to the address that he made to the 2008 graduates of the school where he tought. Take the few minutes and listen to this! I found it to be very inspiring! Enjoy~ mgf~ http://http://www.thelastlecture.com/aboutr.htm | | | | | Moderator Level up: 31%, 40 Points needed |

| That must have been what I saw, Alicia! I watched it on a news show. It's been quite a while ago now, so I can't remember exactly what show or when, but I think it was the graduation speech. Soooooooo amazing. You're right. Whenever something has got you thinking, why me, how could life get any worse, I'm not going to make it through this, just think of him and how he has put a positive spin on somthing so terrible. Just awsome and extremly inspiring. Thanks Alicia! | | | | | Moderator Points: 22,275, Level: 65 | Level up: 66%, 525 Points needed |

| And what did you think of the book, Patricia? Some of it seemed a bit far fetched but, on the other hand, both my daughter & I have tried some of their techniques and found that they work! Hence, the second read! | | | | |
