| I'm reading Blood Knight by Greg Keyes. The first two were really good and this one is turning out to be great as well. I'm into Sci-Fi/Fantasy, ancient mystery and horror. I can really get into military sci-fi. Getting ready to start the Drizzt series by R. A. Salvatore from the beginning again. Got a $100 gift certificate to the bookstore for Christmas and spent it all in 20 min. I'm a book junkie - can't read enough! Anyone else here have to read in order to sleep?? | | | | | Moderator Level up: 31%, 40 Points needed |

| YES!!! I try to go to bed at least 1/2 an hour before hubby to read so I can be asleep before he gets there. He falls asleep the moment his head hits the pillow and snores!!! If I don't get to sleep first, I don't sleep at all!!!
Reading really helps me fall asleep! Sometimes I can read for an hour or more and other times I barely make it 10 minutes before my eyes are crossing. Depends on how tired I am to begin with.
Oh, and YES MGF, I'm glad I checked the book rack at the store!! Probably wouldn't have if it weren't for this thread! Thanks! | | | | | Senior Member Level up: 37%, 361 Points needed |

| I am reading "Frill Kill" by Laura Childs. It is one of a series (cozy mystrey) about a woman that owns a scrapbooking store in New Oleans. Good series. I also like the Hannah Swensen series by Joann Fluke and the B and B series by Mary Da Hiem. I read every day for a couple of hours. My husband had a problem with me reading in bed because of the light so he bought me a little light that hooks ro the book and does not bother him. What a sweetie huh, ha ha. | | | | | Super Moderator Level up: 39%, 181 Points needed |

| Hubby bought me Nora Roberts Blood Brothers for a Christmas present... I haven't read a lot of Nora's books, but it certainly is NOT what I would expect! More Stephen King ish!
I am not sure why he buys me books! He does it every year - and this is the first year we have been together that I didn't have the used book store! LOL! | | | | | Moderator Points: 14,409, Level: 52 | Level up: 53%, 491 Points needed |

| Hi Fellow readers,
I am really into mystreys for the last year or so. A few of my favorites are Lisa Scottoline, Kay Hooper, and Tami Hoag. Like you I love Nora Roberts. Oh, one other favorite is Patricia Cornwell. I read when I go to bed , almost always carry a paperback in my purse.

| I can tell you that the books by JD Robb all have death in the title, the are set in the future and (everyone of the ones that I have read) have a hot & heavy love scene in there......Lt. Dallas and Roark are HOT! mgf~:kissing: | | | | | Super Moderator Level up: 39%, 181 Points needed |

| Well I'm all caught up on the Fern Michaels Sisterhood series and I just finished the 2nd in the 2nd generation series of Sisterhood called Hokus Pokus.
I'm also a Joanne Fluke freak, and I've found Barbara Colley (sp?) She has a Charlotte LaRue mystery series. She owns a housecleaning company in New Orleans, sort of on the same line as Joanne Fluke's mysteries.
I've picked up the Manning sisters, but had started some books from the library so I haven't gotten to it yet. | | | | |
