Just started reading it on Sunday. So far it's wonderful. I have met her at a book signing. She is the most wonderful person! She REALLY is genuine. I think this book is going to be very good. I think it would be a good one to read while recouperating. Makes you take a look at where you are and where you want to be. (well, that's what I'm getting so far. I'm only a couple of chapters in).
I would definitely recommend it! Actually, I would recommend any and ALL of Debbie's books. They are all great reads!!!
Just wanted to say that I'm reading this book now~ Started with just a few pages in the evening....I read over it and then meditate on what she wrote. I find that what she writes about give me things to think and ponder on. So far I'm quite impressed. (I only wish I knew how to knit~she has that woven throughout the book.) I will learn how to knit! Knit Wit came you spare some room for a visitor???;) mgf~
I love her books I started reading her books about 4 yrs ago and passed them on to my sisters now they too read everything she has in print.... Hope everything goes well for you !!!
I really like her books!! As I read them I wish that I knew how to knit! I am going to learn by golly! I find myself purchasing each and every new book that comes out~so you can bet I have a large stack that needs to be read!
I haven't had much reading time lately so I checked out her web site Debbie Macomber - Where ever you are... Debbie takes you home. It's very pretty, but you might be interested to know she has a newsletter and a month contest.
Best wishes on you surgery.
