| I have never been much of a reader until a few years ago when it was my resolution to read 6 books in the next year. That started a flood of reading. One day my sister and I went to a used book store to look for two of her books. She had looked at Wally World and had no luck. I laughed at her for liking Debbie Macomber so much that she had to get the rest of the series ( at least at that time it was all in that series).
I picked up one of her Christmas books - The Christmas Baskets - and could not hardly put it down or stop laughing. I did learn by her and purchased the entire set with the addresses before I began reading, only to find it was not the entire set. I do believe in recycling and shop at Goodwill and other thrift stores. I even have hooked a few other people at work on them. Donna LaVoie (?) is also good as is Susan Wiggs.
Being reformed from years ago, I now carry a book with me everywhere, JUST IN CASE!.
Hope you heal slowly enough to get some good reading done but fast enough that it will be more like a pause in your life. Prayers are with you. |
