I ordered the book online and it was delivered early Saturday morning. Of course I had to spend most of the weekend reading it.

Kelly and I went to the Midnight Ball at the mall. Then Saturday went to get the mail...DOH I forgot I had preordered it! So we've got 2 copies. I'm a little over half way through, the thing is I haven't read the other books! But I'm still following along with a little help from Kelly! LOL

Well..........I don't read the books~~~I have seen the first movie but other than that I'm clueless about them.
My DH is really against it all. He listens to alot of preachers while he drives and they are really made a case for it being bad.

I really enjoyed the first movie~I have a friend bringing my the books so I can read them...call it rebellious but I want to decide for myself.

Funny story though~we were at the mall and saw this guy reading the book and asked him about it~he was about 1/4 thru it then went back on Sunday and he had finished it. He did tell me about some of it but that just made me want to read them more!

Has anyone ate the candy jelly beans..........vomit??? earth worms??? ugh!

mgf~

I like to listen to the Christian channel while I'm driving too. :p I was actually listening to one the night that the book came out and they were discussing Harry Potter. Both sides had good points.

But what's so different between Harry Potter and The Lion Witch and The Wardrobe? They both use magic. There is a man in the HP books that considers himself a god and they protray Aslan as a god of Narnia. Harry Potter is considered witch craft yet the C.S. Lewis book is considerd ok and the movie was promoted by some churches.

The beans are good! Well when you are giving them to unsuspecting people. *NEVER* give them to your boss who loves jelly beans without him knowing what they are first though!!!!

I like the Chocolate Frogs. I started collecting the cards that coem with them, but that is getting to be one expensive collection so I stopped. :p

After I saw the first movie I really felt that it was about friendship!
My DH didn't want to hear anything about it!!
I totally agree about the CS Lewis books~
I will read the books~I'm not one to take others opinions but for the sake of my DH I tried.
I am interested in the story~
I will let ya know what I think~
mgf~

In my opinion, it's good vs. evil which is what religion is about...Good is God and Evil is the Devil!
There is a kid in England that made a book using Harry Potter books to teach religion! I saw it on CNN last week!
