| I picked up the neatest book today at the mall. It's called Weird N.J. Well being related to the family that's part of the Jersey Devil legend, I had to get it. It's got hauntings, legends and oddities from all over New Jersey. Apparently these two authors have done a Weird U.S. also, and I just found out it was or still is a weekly show on the History Channel.
It not only has stories about hauntings and legends, but other oddities, odd shaped houses, weird houses in general, abandoned areas that were once thriving recreational places, those neat roadside attractions that get our attention.
They have also done, Weird Pennsylvania, Weird New York, Weird Ohio, Weird Florida, Weird Texas, Weird Illinois and Weird Wisconsin.
So if you're into weird stuff these books might be for you!!! I'm enjoying mine right now....well except the hauntings part, I have to read those in the daytime! |
