Am I the only Romatic in the bunch!!

I don't have any Favorite Aunthors but willing to hear what yours are!!



I read about 1 1/2 a month!! Ipick all my books up at Yard Sale and second hand shops!!

I pay anywere from 10cents to 2.99 depending on where I get them!!



After I'm done with my books DH reads them too!! Belive it or not, He is the one that got me hooked on Historical Romance Novels!!



Once we are done with them I then give them to Slide to sell!! I got my money's worth out of them!! [img]images/smiley_icons/hysterical.gif[/img]



My favorite ones to ready are in the 1800's when the west was still wild!! I love the strugles of the pinoners and the wars of this time!!



The reason I like type of novel is that the person stateing it as a historcal it has to be true to life and researched!!

[img]images/smiley_icons/hysterical.gif[/img] I like historical romances-the western ones are my faves, too. I don't really care for the viking/medevial ones.

I also like mystery and suspense, true crime, westerns like Louis L'Amour (not raunchy like some of them are),pioneering stories, true animal stories,etc. I think I just plain like to read! [img]images/smiley_icons/oh yes.gif[/img]

[img]images/smiley_icons/hysterical.gif[/img] I'm the same for the Romace novels!! I don't mind the odd Victorian but like you I'm not fussy on the midevile novels!!



I call these no brainers!! when I just wantto forget about my day I pick up my novel at night an read till it falls into my face!!

I LOVE historical romance novels!! I like em all. A great author you should check out is Jude Devereaux. A knight in shining armor is an excellent book. Be forwarned though it is set in the medieval time period.
