New Soaper!

I am new to the soap world (just started dabbling). I would eventually like to sell. There are many recipes on the internet, but I am not sure which ones are OK to use and sell (or take and make them my own). Any tips on the can's and can't do's?

Once you get a recipe you like and you believe is working for you, try it on your friends and family. Get their input and then off to the lab to get your formulas tested. It is important before you ever sell a product that you also have insurance, so don't forget about that :)
