Default TherapyGarden™ Chocolate Raspberry Bath Melts
Old 03-05-2006, 02:05 PM   #1 (permalink)

Gorgeous, all-natural cocoa butter with the added benefits of soothing oatmeal. Perfect for dry, cracked or irritated skin. A truly a nourishing, moisturizing skin treatment.

TherapyGarden™ Chocolate Raspberry Bath Melts

Ingredients:

2 oz (4 Tbl) Cocoa Butter Natural (grated)

1 oz (2 Tbl) Citric Acid

3 Tbl Oatmeal, finely ground

15 drops Chocolate Raspberry Fragrance Oil

2 oz (4 Tbl) Baking soda

Method:

Grind oatmeal until fluffy, then thoroughly mix the oatmeal, baking soda and citric acid together.

In a separate, microwave-safe glass container, gently melt cocoa butter on the 50% setting on your microwave.

Add Fragrance Oil to the melted cocoa butter and stir well.

Add the dry ingredients to the cocoa butter mixture, blending thoroughly, and pour into into ice cube trays. Place in the freezer for 20-30 minutes.

When completely solid, store in a cool location (refrigerate if you like) in plastic bags or a Tupperware-type container until ready to use.

To use, add one or two cubes to a hot bath when the tub is nearly full. The cubes will "fizz" slightly, releasing the oils and fragrance into your bath. If you like more fragrance, add it directly to the bath water after the cube has melted.

Also terrific as a hand or foot soak to help with dry, rough cuticles and callouses.

Note: Use care while getting in and out of the tub--it will be slippery. Clean tub thoroughly after use, as you would when using any bath oil product.

You're gonna love it!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy!

Debbi
