Perfect Baby Shower Ideas

I am throwing a baby-shower for my niece that thought that starting a scrapbook for her there would be nice...

I am going to have those attending, at their convenience; decorate, write a message, and add their names, to a blank page for the baby's scrapbook. We will also take a photo of the person to add to their page.

Once the day is done, all the pages will be added along with the rest of the pages that are put together of the baby-shower.
My niece can then decide whether she wants to continue on with that album or start new...

Just thought I would share an idea with all,

That's a good idea Mom2mny! I like it. My DIL is expecting their second daughter in May, maybe I could do something like that for her.

I really like that idea .... another one is to have everyone attending sign a picture "mat" with perhaps a short comment -- imagine how special a picture of the new baby will become surrounded by something as simple as an autographed "mat"!

For my step daughter's baby shower I made a 5 1/2 X 8 pages for each guest to fill out. It consisted of , their name, address, a place for a picture of them (which was taken at the shower and placed later) a space for how they knew the new parents, a space for baby advice and a couple of other things. After the shower when the pictures were all added and I added a couple of pages with the menu and some pictures of decorations and a sample of the invitation etc. I bound them into a book for her to keep. She loves it, it is a great remberance of a lovely day. (Oh and there were pages to list all the gifts and when thank yous were sent out etc.)
