Ok Ladies, My son and my nephews found these flat rocks and these seashells in the river. The Potamac River to be exact. How did theses shells get in the river(fresh water)? I thought only seashells were from the ocean(salt water). I was piddling last night and I made this one.

Well there are fresh water shells too!! We had a clam bake this summer, and it was all fresh water clams!! I don't eat them, but the kids loved searching for them in the water at the beach and DH and thier dad baked them for all to have and they really enjoyed them!! I had my roasted winnies!!LOL

Great job! And yep we have fresh water clams too. I have never eaten one but I have found some of their shells! Ours are black shelled.

The card is great I like the idea of the rocks and shells ,never thought to use them but they made a cool ATC.
