These are so easy to make! I was having so much fun I ended up making four. Great kids craft -- minus the glue gun of course. Tacky glue worked fine for me.
I did not use the styrofoam cone. Instead I glued the middle of the second filter to the head inside the first filter.
They will stand on their own or you can tie a ribbon or cord around the center of the wings for a hanger before you glue them to the back of the angel.
We don't drink coffee so I had to buy filters and the only ones I could find were rather small (1-4 cup) -- but I think they made a nice sized angel.
