| If you want to transfer a picture onto fabric that you plan to sew onto another fabric (example: Sew a fabric photo of your kids onto a canvas bag), I've discovered a cheap way to do it.
Cut a piece of freezer paper to a size that will go through your printer. Iron an equal size piece of fabric (muslin, cotton, etc. works really well - something that isn't real porous) to the waxy side of the paper. It will stick and will be easy to remove!
Now, run the fabric, with the paper still attached, through your printer as you normally would. No need to do a mirror image!
Voila! You have your pic! Now, peel away the paper and cut your fabric to the size you need for your project!
BTW, this also works with iron-on fusing - just be sure you leave the paper on the side that isn't against the fabric!!! |
