Default Recycling greeting cards
Old 01-17-2006, 02:05 PM   #1 (permalink)

Hello,

I'm looking for ideas for how to use all the greeting cards I've received through the years. I can't bear to throw them away. I know there has got to be some great uses for them. Any suggestions?

Puzzled, Jeanette

I have used them to make placemats for our Christmas Eve table.

Just go to the search button and do a search.

Make coasters. Cut them into a size of a coaster and decoupage them to a wooden cut out the same size, coat them with sealer.

A decoupaged Christmas themed serving tray

A trivit made of a ceramic tile with a card cut out to fit, sealed and add four little wooden balls to the bottom for feet

I reuse mine for homemade cards I make

Christmas collage

Add smaller ones to a wreath first coating them with decoupage

and attach with a ribbon

ok my mind is slowing down

Alot of nice ideas from everyone, a couple I am going to try especially those small boxes
