| If this is the wrong place to post this, please feel free to move!! I got this in an email and remember someone having trouble with crayon on walls (???) I personally use goo gone, but this suggests baking soda....maybe someone can use...
Crayon marks on walls come off remarkably well if wiped with a damp cloth
dipped in baking soda.
- For permanent marker on appliances or counter tops (including receipt
blue) dunk a paper towel in rubbing alcohol and wipe.
- Blood stains on clothes come right out if you pour a little peroxide on a
cloth and wipe off every drop.
- Try straight vinegar and newspaper to clean windows. Remember - not on a
sunny day since fast drying and streaks are synonymous. Also, remember to
use vertical strokes on one side and horizontal on the other to which side
has streaks.
- For artificial flowers, pour salt into a bag with flowers and shake
vigorously. Dust and dirt will be absorbed and leave flowers looking like
new!
- Burn you skillet? A drop or two of dish soap in enough water to cover
bottom of pan, brought to a boil will make cleaning a breeze.
- Spray Tupperware with nonstick cooking spray before any tomato based
foods. Voila, no stains. |
