I think this is such a neat idea. I usually don't throw out old calendars, I just save them until I find something to do with them. Now, I finally have something great to do with them!

This would make a really nice gift for someone special. http://www.makingfriends.com/recycled_stationery.h tm You Need:
Outdated Large Calendar
Kreate-a-Lope Envelope Maker***
Glue Stick
Nice Paper
Scissors
Computer
Instructions:
Cut apart the calendar at binding. Make sure to save the back of the calendar with the small photos. Use envelope maker*** to turn large pictures into envelopes. You will probably need to use it upside down to get the picture on the front of the envelope to face in the correct direction.
Design the writing paper on your computer. It should be a half sheet which measures 8-1/2" x 5-1/2". Cut out the small picture that matches the envelope you just made. and paste it onto the writing paper. ***I would use an old envelope. Take it apart and open it up then trace a pattern. Cut it out from there. That is what I would do instead of buying something to make the envelope.
