Oiy. That's a tough one. Get him a dog! Ok, maybe not. Then you have 2 to wait on hand and foot. Hmmmm..... The library? Sometimes they have special things going on for kids. But, I know you're looking for stuff for him to do at home. Ok, I know you're looking for something that's NOT in front of the TV, but have you looked into a Wii? There are games that will get him up and moving around not just sitting and using a hand controller. We hav this one called Outdoor Adventure (something like that). It has a floor pad that you run on, jump on, etc. It's a blast! And it's for one player or two. Then there's the Wii fit. Again, not just sitting and playing, you're actually moving around. Yeah, it's kind of expensive, but if it keeps him active.................? I don't know. I'm not very creative myself when it comes to keeping kids busy. I gave my older son a younger brother to drive him crazy. I know, you're working on that.

I'll keep thinking to see what I can come up with. Oh, maybe get him interested in cooking for himself! First with you of course. It'll be a life skill and he won't even know it!

Good luck!
