I have a 7 year old son who is the only kid in the neighborhood his age. If I hear "there's nothing to do" or "no one to play with" one more time, I'm gonna scream! I used to let him play with my neices at my MIL's house, but I had a disagreement with how things were done there, so he no longer goes to play there anymore. All they did was eat junkfood and sit in front of tv all day anyway. So, I'm taking control again, and have no idea what I'm doing, lol! He's upset because I don't make pizza rolls for dinner. He's bored sitting around the house. The park is full of a bunch of kids who use foul language and rough play. I don't want my son around that. So, what kind of things to do for a 7 yo who's used to being waited on hand and foot, and never was encouraged to use his imagination? If I had known what was going on all this time, I wouldn't have let it get this bad. I need kid projects for one... and I need them bad. All the ideas for summer fun I see are for a group of kids, but he's the only one in his age range in the neighborhood. Please help! Thanks!
