I do not have any children or grandchildren in or going into the military at this time but I do remember how it felt when my little brother went. It is such and emotionialy confusing thing. I can relate to all of those happy/sad feelings. God Bless your family and especially your son for his courage!! Please pass on to your son my best wishes, my prayers and my gratitude and pride!
