Red face Ovary Removel
Old 10-15-2008, 09:35 PM   #1 (permalink)

Here's my story, I'm 32 years old I developed a cyst on my right ovary suffered sever pain for several months before I finally found out what it was. Long story short I had surgery on August 22, 2008 and had the right ovary and tube removed. WOW the pain was gone, until about 3 weeks ago, I started having the simailar pain but this time on my left side and some days I would feel the pain in my right side. I went to the doctor yesterday October 14, 2008 an ultrasound was done and now I have a cyst on my left ovary. My regular doctor was not in the office when I went on Tuesday so I had to see the physicians assistant, she has me going back to see my doctor this friday 10/17/08 to discuss what to do about the cyst. Most likely another surgery to have that ovary & tub removed. They are telling me that I will have to start taking estrogen as soon as the left side is removed. I need some advice on that. I've done the research and so many things say not to take it but I have come across things that say the body needs it to keep from having early memory loss. Any one my age been through this before? Please tell me what you think.
