| Yolandi knew exactly what she wanted and would not settle for anything less...... Yes, they do look so happy.
The venue has a very interesting story. It used to be a brothel way back in the 50's. And when the then owners sold this place, the prostitues each donated a pair of shoes. Since then all the owners collected shoes. So today, the entite ceiling is covered in shoes (it is glued to the ceiling) and there are maniquins dressed in "traditional" clothing associated with prostitutes all over the place. All the cutlery and china ware dates back to the 50's. Hence the rule that no child under the age of 12 is allowed in this place.
In the yard, there are geese and goats and bucks walking freely (except on the pathway to the reception halls).... It is such an amazing place. |
