My first wedding was in Texas. Our families lived in WI. We took the couple that stood up for us and a couple of good friends out for breakfast.
The second time it was at the court house and we took the best man and his wife, the matron of honer, my mil and a couple of friends out to dinner.
The best man's wife made the wedding cake as their gift.
My dh passed away after only 7 yrs.
This last time, it was at the court house, and we took the couple that stood up for us out to dinner.
You could have a reception in your mom's backyard if its during warm weather. |
