I use alo of baskets ,plastic shoe boxes, the stackable plastic draws and the small wooden cubie cabinets you put together yourself from Wal Mart. For my ribbon I took some chain and hung from the ceiling put ribbon rolls on wooden rods and insert each end into the chain, now it hangs and is easy to see the colors and to pull off amount you need without having to dig it out of boxes or draws.
