I had a complete hystorectomy in 1999 and did the hrt for about a year. My mom has a history of breast cancer and the cost of hrt got to be too much for me when I lost my health insurance. I did not replace the hrt with anything. There were days that the hot flashes almost did me in and my hubby said I was a TAD grumpy from time to time but all in all, I did ok. Have a very serious discussion with your doctor about this. If he doesnt want to discuss or try to help you, my next suggestion is... find another doctor! |
