Thanks Girls!!

We are pretty sure it was a lightening strike, not sure why the fire marshall has not siad as much???

The Telephone box on the pole away from the house was fried, it was not near any fire at all, so this is a sure sign of a lightening strike!!

They are sure the fire started in the basement as it was smodering for a couple days before any smoke or fire had broken any windows or burned through to get more oxygen!! Once the fire got more oxygen, it was game over for the house!! That's why it was fully engulfed by the time the fire department got there. The fire house is only about 3 mile from the house!!!

Did I mention that my friend is the fire chief of this station!! Noticed it wasn't in the report!!LOL!! He was so ashamed that it was his house on fire he asked them not to mention the family name in the reports!! He knows all the news people and they like him as he is the one generaly they talk to at all the fire calls!!! It was nice that they respected his wishes!!!
