I live in Germany and we pay the equivalent of over $9.00 a gallon here. It is really not fun going anywhere anymore. But when we do, we try to drive sensibly to keep the gas mileage down.

Since I live within an acceptable distance to town, I use my bike as much as possible to do errands and get groceries. It is not only good for the environment and my purse, it also keeps me active and burns off those extra calories.
