Default The Wii and Wii Fit
Old 06-11-2008, 07:10 AM   #1 (permalink)

I am not a huge fan of gaming consoles but this I am loving. It took some time for me to come around to getting one.

It is great that you actually get physical activity out of playing the games. It can be a real work out. The girls are becoming more active and not realizing it because they are having so much fun. Trying to get these two kids of mine (12 and 16) to do any activity is hair pulling some days.

We have the tennis, baseball, etc that comes with the console it is a great work out swing and playing. I saw these neat attachments for the controller, they included the bat, tennis racket, golf club and steering wheel. Thought they would be lots of fun. They ended up being a work out and a half. When using the attachments you have to work harder at getting better scores, which makes us all work harder trying to beat one another's scores.

Now we are trying to get the Wii Fit but they are selling out faster then we can get into town to get one.

We try to play twice a week as a family. It sure helps with your muscle building and concentration. It gets you mentally and physically.

And when we finally get the Wii Fit, I am going to challenge my girls. We all need some muscle training.

Just finally happy that someone was able to take the Video game playing to a higher level involving more activity.

Smiles n hugs
