Default Cozy mystery suggestions
Old 03-17-2008, 02:27 AM   #12 (permalink)

I am going to take a look at some of the suggestions on this thread because I LOVE cozy mysteries. Here are my two favorite series in this genre:
  1. Mrs. Polifax series by Dorothy Gilman. She's an older lady that starts working for the CIA.
  2. MacLaren Yarbrough series by Patricia Sprinkle. A wonderful setting in Georgia, small town, unique characters and MacLaren is a hoot. She is also an older lady who becomes the magistrate and tends to get in a lot of trouble!
By this list, you would think I was 60 and not 32! But the characters are excellent and the woman are strong and independent thinkers that let you know it doesn't matter what age you are, you can do anything you set your mind to doing.

Happy reading,
Jo
