Our doctors put their initials on the place where the surgery is to be when they come into the pre-op room to talk to you and check on things.
My dh has had numerous one day surgeries because of having stents (7of them) put into arteries. And a number of colonoscopies because of a cancerous polyp. He has been lucky so far as he hasn't gotten any staph or strep infections. This sort of thing happens way too often. |
