Ch 73
Row 1: Make double crochet in 3rd chain from hook and double crochet in each across. 70 DC end off.
Row 2: Join Next yarn. I used eyelash yarn in red and black Sc in each chain across. 70 Sc. End off.
Row 2. On the side that is unused from the first row join same yarn as row 2. Sc in each across 70 sc. End off
work in ends.


The fringe I cut a 3 colors of yarn into strips of 8 or 9 inches. Fold in half and join in the top of the sc. I used the knot that you do latch hook with. You can also do it down the other side but I chose not to.
Add a button and fasten.

(Note: the 2 ends are left un-worked.)

This is the first time I have tried writing a pattern. The pattern itself is pretty straight forward but not sure how to write it.
