Hi Milli,
Do you have a community billboard you can advertise on. I started this way and now have a very
large collection of ladies that come to my house. I started with a few basics like teaching them how to make earrings for the first 2 weeks, then went to bracelets, then necklaces. By this time they will have got the hang of a few basics then you can go further with them.
The internet is a fabulous place for find stuff for beginners.
Welcome to About.com is a site that gives free
beading lessons straight to your computer every day.
If you go to GOOGLE and type in Bobs Beading it will give a beginners site which is also extremely good.
I make up kits for them in zipped plastic lunch bags and include instructions so they can follow them.
