I felt I should share our story with all of you. We had a lovely 14month old Boston Terrier, named Missi. She was just wonderful, and we had thought about getting another, as we had 2 Bostons' together at another time in our lives. Our daughter let us know about a website with "Bostons on it". It was BTCC a rescue site for abused dogs. Weren't we overjoyed to be accepted as adoptive parents to a Boston. We visited "Bobby G." at his foster home and were immediately in love with him. After our home visit and the fact that they made sure we were the right home, we brought him into our lives in July, 07. Bobby had been a stud in a puppy mill in Penn. only grabbed by the scruff whenever his "service" was required and then thrown back into a pen. He had never even felt grass beneath his feet and he was 5 years old! He was a skinny, cowering scared little individual when he was rescued. The foster persons use their own funds to assist these poor dogs and have even saved some from the streets. They do some fundraising to help cover some costs. If you would like to help them, you can do so at
www.BTCCsite.com Since joining our family, Bobby has blossomed into a loveable, happy, proud little guy who we just adore. He even found out that life can be fun.
