Woo hoo! Today, the Humane Society in our town had a little pet show. Any breed, and mix breeds were welcome to join in a fun day of just showing off. They had lots of fun categories, cutest tail, prettiest colors, costume class, ugliest dog (so ugly they're cute, lol), prettiest dog (females), and handsomest dog (males), and even a category for handicapped or "special" dogs-blind, deaf, missing limb, etc. Also a category for pets other than dogs... there were hamsters, iguanas, and I got to relive my memories by holding a red-tail boa constrictor... what fun!
Anywho... I entered Mac in 2 categories. Pretty Tail, and Handsome categories. Well, he came home with a pretty 4th place ribbon! I was so proud! He was beaten by purebred poodle, great dane, and Jack Russel. So, as far as "mutts" are concerned, he got "top dog", lol! 4th place handsomest dog.... not bad for a first-time showing. I'm pretty proud of my full-blooded mutt, lol! |
