Hi lor1b! Are you diabetic? The reason I ask is Glucophage(also called Metformin) is a diabetic medication. It keeps your blood sugar from bottoming out. My DH is a severe diabetic and he takes it along with 2 types of insulin and another tablet called Avandia. Glucophage is dangerous if you're allergic to it, it can cause death at one dose. The mild side effect that you should notice would be very stinky gas, check with your doctor and make sure he is not giving you Glucophage for a birth control. I hope this helps you.

Hugs & Happiness~~~ Paula
