| I started a discussion about this on the Just for Fun board, trying to make light of a bad situation.
I complained about toilet tissue being so soft it was leaving lint in my private areas. I had no idea what was happening over time. The residue caused me to have an infection, which is a serious thing for me because I am immune-deficient due to rhematoid arthritis drug treatments. My symptoms were itching and burning. I tried Vagisil to no avail.
I had to see my doctor; it got bad enough that I was scratching at night and causing my skin to erupt and bleed. I was cleansing myself several times daily to remove the "lint" as well as the excess discharge due to the infection.
Amazingly, he told me his EIGHT YEAR OLD stepdaughter had the same thing!
I switched to using baby wipes.
MOTHERS of daughters, please be aware of this before your little girl gets an infection! If she is a teenager, please don't jump at pushing your anger button and accuse her of doing things she may not be doing! Get her to a doctor instead! |
