Yep.....get a tube or two of the clear silicone....squeeze it in a container you don't mind throwing away like a cool whip or margaine tub.....wrap some kind of wire...florist or whatever you have, around the metal part of the bulb....dip it in your silicone....play with it til you get the desired look. Hang it somewhere to dry. Don't remember how long it takes to dry, I think it depends on how much silicone you use. Make sure though it's completely dry before trying one.
