I know this one! DH is a glazier(glass and mirror man). Go to your local glass and mirror shop and ask for a CARBIDE drill bit. Some places give the used ones away, or may charge a little bit but not much. How quickly do you need it? DH may have 1 or 2 lying around the shop if you are willing to pay for shipping.
