Christy, don't feel bad..mine turn out the same way. I have followed the recipes from the back of chip bags, recipes from magazines and cookbooks and I am still looking...even the recipe that was named Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies turned out not so perfect for me. It is VERY frustrating when you follow the recipe the exact way it says and it doesn't turn out. [img]images/smiley_icons/jpshakehead.gif[/img] Mine always are flat and lumpy looking or hard as a rock....fortunately for me at our house, cookies get eaten up whether they have to be dunked for 5 minutes or if you have to use a spoon to scoop them off the baking pan! [img]images/smiley_icons/smlylaugh2.gif[/img]
