Paint the pot saucer and ball, once dry use the silicone and turn the terra cotta pot upside down apply the silicone to the rim of the pot and place the ivy bowl firmly on top of the pot let dry over night. Glue the wooden ball to the middle of saucer place saucer on top of the ivy bowl and fill with your favorite candy and you have a very cute candy dish that looks like a gumball dispenser!!! Another way to make this is instead of gluing the wooden ball onto the saucer you drill a hole in the center of the saucer and you use a drawer pull and you use a 10X 5/8” screw and screw the drawer pull into the saucer. It works really well. There are a lot of things you can do with these candy dishes you can use different size pots and glass bowls to make big or smaller candy dishes.
