Here's a great use your old jeans. Cut the jean material into squares all the same size, fray the edges then sew together below the fray line. Make it as big as you want! What a great funky look.

Happy Crafting... Karen Foiles

This is a fun way to spice up little girls socks.

You will need...
1 pair of socks (the kind that fold over at the ankle)
Cotton crochet thread
Beads (any style and color.. be creative!)
Tapestry needle
Crochet hook that will fit through hole of beads (try size 11 or 12)

Sc to edge of sock,*ch 3, insert hook through bead, yo and draw thread through bead, ch 3, sc to sock. Ch 2, insert hook through bead, yo and draw thread through bead, ch 2, sc to sock, repeat from * around sock. Fasten off.

Use your beginning and ending thread and tie a square knot. With tapestry needle, weave in ends and take a few stitches to insure that beads will not unravel.

This is another really easy pattern: You will need sz 7 knitting needles. Cast on 4 sts. Knit next row. row 2 K2, yo, k to end of row. repeat this till you have 43 sts on your needle. Next row (dec row) K1, K2tog, yo, k2tog, k to end of the row. Repeat this until 4 sts remain. Cast off.
My friends are always asking for these, for they are great to use.

This is a great project for beginning knitters.
Cast 2 stitches on a number 8 knitting needle. Knit one row. On the next row increase one stitch in the first stitch and then knit across the row. Repeat this row until you have 50 stitches on the needle. On the following rows, knit across the row until there are two stitches left, then knit those two stitches together. When only 2 stitches remain on the needle, knit them together. Fasten off the last stitch.
