What you need for this easy idea:
-beading wire
-assorted medium-large beads

How to make:
1.Take a large round bead(as a head) and string on to the wire, near the middle.
2. Bend the wire next to the bead under it, until the 2 strands of wire are next to each other.
3. String a second smaller bead onto both wires, so both pierce through the hole. This is the neck.
4. Now separate the 2 strands and put in a number of same sized beads through one of the wires. Place a larger bead after the small ones.
5. Loop the wire back over the large beads and return through the holes in the smaller beads. Repeat steps 4 and 5 with the second strand, so the two meet back in the middle.
6. Put in about 3 more large beads as the body, piercing through both wires.
7. To make the legs, repeat step 4, but making the legs longer by putting in more beads.
8. Knot or twist at the end of the legs to stop beads from falling out.

Be creative and vary the techniques used.

To make this flower bracelet you will need:
1. different colored small round beads.
2. string.
3. bracelet stoppers.

First put a stopper at the end of the string. Then string on 6 beads. (The color of the petals.) Pull the string back through the first bead to create a circle. Then string on you middle bead. Pull the string back through the 4th bead and pull tight, and push the middle bead down. Repeat, you can also add spacers such as 5 beads between each flower

To add to the idea of plastic canvas jewelery, you can make several pieces of p.c. shapes and string them between large beads for a very unique necklace or bracelet. Try making the p.c. jewlery with all the glittery p.c. yarn and threads that are out. Very unique and pretty.
Jewelry can also be made for children to "dress up" with. Maybe use elastic string to put the beads on.

Linda near Chicago.

Make beautiful paper beads out of old magazine pictures.
You will need:
Old magazine photos
Scissors
Elmer's glue
A barbecue stick or toothpick
String

Cut long triangles on the paper, then cut them out. Do this until you have at least 50 triangles. Then, take one and cover with a light layer of Elmer's glue in any side. then roll the paper, but make sure the wider part goes first. Then roll it in the barbecue stick or toothpick. Then when you're done, use the paper beads to make necklaces, or bracelets.

Cut wallpaper into 1 1/2 inch circles. Cover the back of each with white school glue. Roll each circle into a cylinder around a pencil. Quickly slip the cylinder "bead" off the pencil so it doesn't stick. Let beads dry. String onto dental floss to make a nifty necklace.
