Pie pans can be used to make attractive potpourri holders. Remove the outer rim of pie pan and cut out desired design or leave as a round design. Fill pan with potpourri and glue to hold potpourri in place. Add potpourri oil if desired. Take a piece of bridal veil and cover entire design, and glue well to back of pan. Once the glue dries, add a decorative ribbon to back of pan for hanging. Decorative laces and ribbons can be used to accent design. From: MaryBranch, NC.

Use any size wooden embroidery hoops, I prefer the smaller ones. Lay the bottom hoop on the table, cover with a piece of lace fabric about 1 inch larger around than the hoop, fill with as much potpourri as you can use, cover with another piece of lace fabric the same size as the bottom, put the 2 hoops together and tighten. using 1/2 to 1 1/2 inch gathered lace, starting from the tightening screw, glue the lace to the back of the back hoop, lace edge out,all the way around. Then add a small bow tied around the tightener, use any kind of ribbon. It can be hung on a push pin.

I take a small grapevine wreath and hot glue potpourri all over the wreath add a decorative bow on top to hang. You can also delete the bow and add a small candle holder in center of wreath, with your favorite scented candle. This make a beautifully scented piece. Both projects are fun and simple

My Aunt Sent One of these to my Mom for Christmas..They are so easy and could be for any Holiday, Depending on the color of the Potpourri Used.
You Will Need:
A Glass Container,(Fish Bowl, Ball Canning Jar, The Container is Your Choice .Be Creative.

Sting of mini Christmas Lights (any color You Choose)

A Doyle to Cover the Top of the Jar. (Tie with Ribbon to top of your Glass Container).

Step 1. Place Christmas Lights in Glass Container. Move them into a Continuous S pattern with the Plug coming out of the Top of the Glass Container..

Step 2. Fill Glass Container with Potpourri, shaking the container to work the Potpourri around the Christmas Lights.

Step 3. Place Doyle on top of Glass Container with the Plug handing out. Tie Ribbon around Doyle to Secure.

Step 4. Plug it in..and in a few minutes you will have a Great Smelling Room. (the Christmas Lights Will heat up the potpourri).

Just a couple of ideas...
those tiny straw hats that cost 25 cents at Walmart are great if you turn them over and put potpourri or lavender inside the crown, then cover with netting or lace glued on with a glue gun.... just put a small ribbon band and fabric flowers around the hat band section and tie a bow in back...
cheap, cute, and really easy. can be used with a piece of ribbon loop to hang in the closet, or just put in a dresser drawer.

Another easy idea is to buy those little terra cotta pots and sponge paint the outside in gold paint, then place a small votive candle inside, possibly in the wedding color. you can also use battenburg lace and old buttons and ribbon in the brides colors to make simple but lovely brooches.
